November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and we are celebrating our special senior sweethearts! To help our older animals find their forever homes, we are having adoption specials for cats and dogs 7 years and older all month long!
Adoption fees for all dogs 7 years and older are $25. Adoptions for all cats 7 years and older are just $5, plus come with a free collar! The regular adoption process still applies and the spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and health check are included.
We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of Credit Union of Denver's 2016 Dog Calendar! All proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to the Shelter to support our life-saving work on behalf of homeless pets.
The calendars are $12 each and are on sale now! You can purchase them at Foothills Animal Shelter or any Credit Union of Denver location.
When an adorable 4-month-old English Bulldog mix was surrendered to Foothills Animal Shelter, the reason was obvious. The puppy, named Boss, suffered from a condition that had bowed his hind legs so severely it was difficult for him to walk. After a risky surgery, six weeks of crate rest and lots of love from his foster family, Boss is now fully recovered and leads the pack as he romps with his doggie siblings in his new forever home.
Boss is just one of more than 9,000 homeless pets Foothills Animal Shelter helps each year. But we can't do it alone--financial support from people like you makes it possible for these precious lives to be saved and made better.
We've set a goal to get 50,000 pets licensed this year and we're currently at 35,600. You can help us reach our goal by licensing your pet today! Not only does a license help get your lost pet home, it also helps support Foothills Animal Shelter--where thousands of homeless pets are cared for each year. License Today
