Happy Tails - Buddy finds a Forever Home
BuddyBuddy arrived at the Shelter as a lost dog. He's a big, loveable Labrador, and approaches new friends with a wide grin and wagging tail. Buddy might bump into you when saying "hello." You see, what is unusual about this friendly dog is that he only has one eye - and unfortunately has no vision at all.
Flood Evacuation Update
Transporting animals during flood evacuationAs the flood devastated surrounding communities, Foothills Animal Shelter staff and volunteers assisted those in need.

When a local animal shelter was affected, we rushed to their aid and brought 25 of their dogs into our care. One day later, we started deploying 26 staff and volunteers to assist with area pet evacuation and emergency sheltering efforts.

As an evacuation site for Jefferson County, we are proud to help our neighbors, and thankful to be a part of this strong and caring community.
