Special adoption partners save more lives! Did you know that select PetSmart and Petco stores throughout metro Denver have many of our cats and critters available for adoption? These busy locations introduce our pets to more potential adopters, helping us place more homeless pets in new homes. So far this year, more than 210 pets have been adopted through these wonderful offsite partners!

| Parker & Marco | Featured Adoptable Pets: Parker & Marco
"Friendship is born at the moment when one says to the other: What! You, too? I thought I was the only one!" - C.S. Lewis
We can only guess that is what happened when Parker met Marco! These senior dogs arrived at the Shelter separately - Parker's owner could no longer care for him, and Marco was abandoned in our lobby. After they became fast friends in Play Group, the two were paired in a kennel while patiently waiting for forever homes.

Important Announcement
We would like to share with you an important change taking place at Foothills Animal Shelter. Effective March 1, 2013, the Shelter has separated ties with Foothills Animal Foundation and has begun the process of creating a new Foundation to support the Shelter. This is an important step for the Shelter to take in the long-term fiscal health of the organization.

Last month, 369 pets in our care found forever homes and 96 lost pets have been reunited with their families! We appreciate your continued support as we help orphaned animals get the best chance at a better life.
