Judi Epp, a member of our congregation, who works with Spencer Pride will be on WTIU's Indiana Newsdesk this evening, Friday, June 17 at 6:00 pm! Thanks to Spencer Police Chief Richard Foutch for participating in the interview as well. The segment will be focusing on the local reaction & response to the tragedy in #Orlando. Please tune in. 
Ramadan Iftaar Celebration This Evening, June 17
    Mark your calendars for this heartwarming and delicious celebration of Ramadan, and help break the fast with our friends from the Islamic Center of Bloomington! Doors open at 8:30 p.m. with prayers at 9:14 p.m. following by the breaking of the fast. Please bring a dessert to share. Childcare provided.
Grounds Work Day Tomorrow, June 18
     Join us this Saturday, June 18 for an hour or more between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon to work on our grounds. The weather prediction is in our favor this time! Bring your favorite tools and water!
     - Would you like to help us plant &/or maintain a vegetable patch on the north side? 
     - Can't make it this weekend, but able to help during the summer?

"Sumer Is Icumen In," Come one and come all as we soulfully greet the summer and our single services with a combination of old and new, reflection, music, and ritual to prepare our whole beings for a meaningful season. All ages are invited to participate in this lively and thoughtful service at 10:15!
UU Humanist Forum meets Sunday at 11:45 p.m. 
in Room 208
This Sunday, June 19th at 11:45 p.m. the UU Humanists will meet in Room 208 after children's Religious Education classes end. Topic is "Economic Competition" with Lloyd Orr.
What's happening in Religious Education this week?
Children and youth are encouraged to attend the Intergenerational Summer Service this Sunday. We will be dedicating the peace pole to our children in honor of Beth Hollingsworth's son. Childcare will be available in Room 108.
IOTF Bake Sale Sunday, June 19
There will be an International Outreach Task Force Bake Sale after the service on Sunday, 11:15-12:15. (ONE service only at 10:15
 starting on 6/19).
One Summer Sunday Service at 10:15 a.m. 
June 19 through July 31
     Once again this Summer, we will hold one service and one Religious Education program each Sunday, June 19 through July 31. The service will begin at 10:15 a.m. during this period, with Religious Education classes beginning about 15 minutes later after the Story for All Ages. Regular schedule will resume on August 7.

25% Fund Recipient for 2016-17 is New Leaf-New Life
The 25% Plate Fund recipient for the coming fiscal year is New Leaf - New Life, a local non-profit organization that offers services to individuals during incarceration in Monroe County, and outside to former jail and prison inmates. The goal is to reduce recidivism by helping clients gain access to treatment, education, housing, transportation, and employment. 
Fiscal Year Ends June 30--Pledge Payments Welcome!
Please remember to complete payment your current pledge for 2015-16 as soon as convenient, as the fiscal year ends on June 30. We would love to end the year in the black! If you need an update on the balance on your pledge, please email or call the office, [email protected] or 812-332-3695 ext 204 and we'll be happy to look that up for you.
