"The Return of the Five Shining Stars:
The Next Generation!"
The Reverend Douglas Wadkins
As Rev. Wadkins began his interim ministry with us in 2014, we explored the stories and values that were important to this congregation. Rev. Wadkins summarized that process in a sermon where he explored the Five Shining Stars that he gleaned as important touchstones and guiding lights in our shared path. In this service, Rev. Wadkins will revisit these ideas and share some thoughts, hopes and wishes as we move into a new and exciting chapter as a congregation!
What's happening in Religious Education this week?
This Sunday we will have all ages together for Religious Exploration in Room 208.  We will focus on random acts of kindness, make blessing bags for people in need, and finish our Ben's Bells project.
Sign Shari's Ordination Photo Matte on Sunday
Rev. Shari Woodbury, a member recently ordained by our congregation, was given a beautiful frame with signable matte, in which to place a picture from her ordination. The matte will be out in the Commons on upcoming Sundays so members may sign it with their good wishes, before Shari heads off to her new ministry in Texas soon. She plans to hang this special photo in her office in Fort Worth.

What Do I Do With This...?
One of the finest qualities of Unitarian Universalist people is their desire to be helpful. Here are some ways to increase your Helpfulness Quotient even more, as a part of our community:
What do I do with...
Coffee cup--I missed the kitchen crew: Rinse and place in sink
Open window after my meeting: Close it securely
Easel I used in Fellowship Hall: Place in Rm 110 or Rm 112
Door I unlocked for my meeting: Lock it up before you go
My Coffee mug or water bottle that I brought to church:
Take it home!
THANKS FOR HELPING!   -- Your church staff
