Flower Communion Celebration for All Ages
The Reverend Emily Manvel Leite
The Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
The Reverend Douglas Wadkins

PLEASE BRING A FLOWER (or several if you have extras) to share at the service this Sunday!  Join us as we celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of each individual within our community and share rituals acknowledging the changes happening in our lives.  Our children's choir, directed by Jill Courtney, will be singing.
What's happening in Religious Education this week?
This Sunday May 22, children are encouraged to stay and participate in our flower communion intergenerational service. Childcare is also available in Room 108.
Next Sunday, May 29, we will have all ages together for Religious Exploration in Room 208 as we make blessing bags for people in need and finish our Ben's Bell's Project.
Our Folks...
Our thoughts of healing and sympathy are with Ian Woollen, Susan Swaney, and Jake Woollen and their family upon the passing of Ian's father, Evans Woollen III, on May 17 in Philadelphia.
Many blessings and congratulations to Steve Mascari and Christine Lovelace upon the birth at home on April 1st of Leonardo Antonio Mascari (Leo).  8 pounds even, 21 inches long.
Steve reports: "He's sweet as pie!"

May 15 Auction Raises $12k for Church Mission!
After another great success, we are SOLD! on the value of our annual Goods and Services Auction!  It looks like we'll net over $12,000 -- a ~$2,000 bump from last year's earnings -- to support our mission of Seeking the Spirit, Building Community, and Changing the World!
Many thanks to all who donated items, bid on items, and of course, the many volunteers it takes to carry of such an event -- from chair Debbie Fish and right-hand woman Arzetta Hults-Losensky to auctioneer Darrell Breeden and dozens more, including those pictured here.
More details to come in the next Prologue. For now, we celebrate that a good time was had by all, and significant funds were raised for our church budget. Well done, and for those who bought items or experiences, enjoy!

Loving Day Celebration June 12 - Send Photos to Share!
You're invited to participate in a special celebration of Loving Day on June 12th at 12:45 p.m. here at the church in Fellowship Hall. A potluck lunch is included and the whole community is invited!
Loving Day commemorates the US Supreme Court decision in Loving vs. Virginia (1967), which established interracial marriage as a constitutionally protected right and made it illegal for states to enforce laws against it.  Click here http://bit.ly/25cwACZ for details!
