Special Congregational Meeting April 24
All Members Encouraged to Attend
Following a week of visitation by the candidate for associate minister, we will have a special congregational meeting on April 24th from 1-2pm to vote to call the candidate to join our ministry team. We need a quorum of 156 members for this meeting. Childcare will be provided. Please mark your calendars and see search.uubloomington.org for details and the latest information.

Reserve a Place by April 17:
UU Passover Seder, Saturday April 23 at 6:00 p.m.
Join us for a Seder with UU influence. Tickets on sale Sunday after each service in the commons. Adults $9, Children $3 with a limit of $25 per family. Meal includes the traditional foods and a full dinner. Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Last day to reserve a place is Sunday April 17. Get a ticket in the commons or e-mail Ruellen rfessenb@indiana.edu by April 17.

What's happening in Religious Education this Week?
Preschool: will be exploring our Orange Promise "Offer Kindness" as they hear the story of Jesus offering healing and consider ways they can care for others.
K-1st grade: are learning about our Jewish Teachings Source as they hear the story of Moses and the Burning Bush and think about the value of patience and the important things that different people do with their lives.
2nd-5th grade: will be finding truth through nature as they learn about Henry David Thoreau and explore Transcendentalism.
YUUMS: will be working together in a UU video challenge
YRUU: our high school youth will be attending the lunch with Reverend Scott before planting perennials and bulbs on the church grounds.

Women's Alliance Special Meeting April 21 On Thursday April 21, at 11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall, the Women's Alliance is hosting a gathering to meet our ministerial candidate, Reverend Scott McNeill. Format is that of our usual meetings, with a brown bag lunch; drinks and dessert provided by hosts Doris Wittenburg and Cathy Hiatt.
