UU Humanist Forum -- Sunday, March 13, 12:45 p.m. 
Wide-ranging discussions of issues relating to morality and ethics, human development, and the nature of the universe. The topic on March 13 is "How could something come from nothing?" presented by Harlan Lewis. In Room 208.
Elder Technology Help Offered This Sunday

Equinox Celebration

Liberate yourself from winter!  Join in a celebration of the changing seasons and emerging Spring.  Our children's choir, directed by Jill Courtney, will be performing.
Easter Fundraising Breakfast March 27
   The Habitat Task Force also is hosting an Easter fundraising breakfast between services on March 27. Funds will be used for an upcoming interfaith build in Bloomington. We could use volunteers to help prepare, serve and clean up from any time from 8 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. Please contact Ann LeDuc 
Baby Dedication on Sunday, March 27th
We will set aside special time in both of our worship services on Sunday, March 27th to celebrate a rite of passage for the youngest members of our congregation.    Baby dedications are celebrations of the miracle of life, the sacredness of the child-parent bond, and the importance of a strong reciprocal relationship between family and a supportive faith community. If your family is interested in participating please contact Adrienne Summerlot.

Open pledging began February 20th and will run through April 3rd! We are encouraging friends and members to share "Selfie" photos and pledge to the annual campaign (2016-2017) to celebrate your connection to the congregation . 25% Sunday Non-Pledge Plate Recipient Nomination Campaign - Application Deadline is April 1st
   The process for nominating our next local non-profit agency to receive 25% of Sunday non-pledge plate collections has begun! An application form with guidelines is now available for those who would like to nominate an agency to receive the funds from July 2016 - June 2017. The application deadline is April 1st, after which the Social Justice Funds Committee will choose three nominee finalists for the congregation to vote on at the spring congregational meeting on June 12th.

Monday Shambhala Meditation 
Join us at 12 noon every Monday in the Meeting Room for Shambhala Meditation with Sarah Flint. We have cushions, but you may bring your own cushion if you like.
Thank You from New Leaf/New Life
The staff and clients at New Leaf - New Life send a huge thank you to UU members for participating in the "Helping Hearts" program. They received many great resources for their clients--blankets,sleeping bags, backpacks, toiletries, clothing--and they are so grateful for these items. Donations at 1010 S. Walnut are appreciated at any time.
