In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus is the god of beginnings and transitions, and thereby of gates, doors, doorways, passages and endings. In this final worship service of the year, we will explore the year past and the year to come, through ritual and reflection. Interspersed throughout the service will be selections from Kinderszenen (Scenes of Childhood) by Robert Schumann Op. 15, offered by our pianist Ray Fellman.
Sunday, December 27th - Join us for Religious Exploration for all children in preschool-8th grade in the library. At the 9:15 am service we will be experimenting and creating art. David Weigand of Octopus Ink will entertain us with a magic show at the 11:15 am service.
Life Stories Friday Writing Group on Hiatus Until Jan. 8
The Friday Life Stories writing group will not meet on Christmas Day or New Year's Day, but will resume their meetings on Friday, January 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 210 at the church.
