"The Big Picture: A Whirlwind Tour of Our Faith"
The Reverend Douglas Wadkins
As we conclude our month-long encounter with Ancestry, we will pull back the focus to the broader story of who we are.  This service will honor and celebrate the larger historical narrative of Unitarian Universalism, offering us a chance to glean the wisdom of that journey and find greater meaning in who we are now within this larger context.  Join us for a brisk but illuminating jaunt through the history of our faith!
Our Folks...
Our sympathy and thoughts of healing are with the family and friends of member Paul Lane, who died Saturday, November 21. We are in touch with Paul's family about a memorial service and will let everyone know as soon as the date is set.
Paul's obituary may be read here.

Giving Tree Gift Tags Still Available
We hope this will be the last Sunday with tags available on our Giving Tree in Fellowship Hall. Please sign out a tag to help a person in need.  The remaining tags are gift cards for HIV positive individuals through Positive Link, and items for Stepping Stones, which provides temporary housing for homeless teens. A gently used food processor would be a welcome gift.  Please contact Reverend Emily if you have questions:  mre@uubloomington.org

The Homelessness Task Force and one of our Chalice Circles are working with Shalom Community Center, with assistance to people who are moving from homelessness  to permanent housing. Needed are toiletries, cleaning supplies, dishes, sheets, blankets, shower curtains. Place in the macaroni collection basket in the Commons at church.
