Homeless Jesus

The Reverend Forrest Gilmore

There's a bronze statue that sits outside an Episcopal Church in North Carolina, which depicts a sleeping man on a park bench, wrapped in a blanket. It's the typical image of a homeless man that we've seen countless times, but for one thing -the man's feet reveal two nail-scarred wounds. As Easter approaches, what does it mean to honor a man who so deeply dedicated himself to the poor and homeless? We invite you to join us.

It's Mud Season--Please Don't Park on the Grass!

Extra parking for Sunday services is available on Jordan Avenue, on the west side of Fee Lane, at Marching Hundred Hall across the bypass, and at the tennis courts. It is still true that on IU property as well as here at church and on our neighbor's property to the south, we should only park on paved areas, and not on the grass (not even with just two wheels), as the ground is very soft now as it thaws. Here's a handy map  about parking.
