October has been an "Exceptionally" exciting month!

Sesame Street launched an Autism Initiative last week -- See Amazing in All Children -- that features original animation created by EM graduate Shane McKaskle and a talented group of EM students. Be sure to watch this outstanding work (see below) and read the USA Today article about us!!

Our students have been busy with class work, field trips, and other special events. Second year students toured Disney Digital earlier in the month and we were thrilled to have a guest lecturer from ILM share the secrets of creating dinosaurs for the Jurassic World movies. In the next few weeks, our students will be visiting Shadow Machine, Zoic Studios, and Warner Bros.

Forty parents attended our October Exceptional Parents meeting! We were honored to have Benjamin Maixner and Emily Gale discuss parent survival techniques. Watch for information about our upcoming meetings in December and February.
