A Non-Profit Vocational Center & Animation Studio

Featuring Young Adults On The Autism Spectrum

Special Halloween Edition
October 31, 2014 - Vol. 30
Happy Halloween from EM Students & Staff!

We have had an extremely "spirited" October!

Our full-time students have been actively preparing for Adobe Certification testing in Flash and Premiere Pro. Third year students are enjoying our newly added Maya 3D animation class and are honing their VFX skills.  Benjamin Maixner, M.A, BCBA, has joined us as our Educational and Behavioral Consultant and is busy helping our students get ready for the workforce.

In response to the tremendous need for the vocational education EM provides, we are pleased to welcome our new Development Director, Lupe Ramos-Silva, who comes to us with 15 years of fundraising experience.  Be sure to give her an exceptional welcome when she contacts you for end-of-the-year support.

We hope to see some of you at the ASLA Self-Determination Conference next weekend.  Our students have been invited to present an original animation at the conference on Friday.  In addition, both full and part-time students have been asked to submit drawings for Night of Too Many Stars, a celebrity autism fundraiser held in New York City in February.

Here's to many more "exceptional" accomplishments...

Happy Halloween!
