Exceptional Minds was on CBS News! On July 12th and 13th, EM students and staff were featured on KCAL's Channel 2 and 9 news. Due to the amazing work of news reporter, Lisa Sigell, our booth at Stephanie's Day had over 100 visitors and we've had to install a second phone line in our office. Our fall program is now almost completely full and we look forward to a very successful new school year.
Our summer workshops have been a blast! Our students have created hilarious animated shorts, challenging video games and will soon explore the art of visual effects.
Be sure to check out our website to view the CBS segment and to take a look at some of the "exceptional" things going on at EM.
Howie Hoffman leads nine students in a workshop devoted to the art of animated movement and storytelling. Click here to view the animated short Laughing in the Aisles, created by our "exceptionally" talented students.
Video Games Workshop Underway
Ten exceptional minds, ranging from 15 to 26
years old, have come together to experience a workshop in Video Gaming. Ian Anderson has been
leading these students in designing the next great Video Game! Click here for a preview of one of the games created.
