Welcome to our March Newsletter from Spencers! Notice anything different?!
This month sees the roll out of our new brand, which has been 12 months in the planning, to celebrate our 20th birthday. It was difficult to work out which way to go with the brand development, we wanted to step a little bit away from the red, for many reasons, but none to do with Sheffield Wednesday! We decided to change the emphasis to our grey and to show the growth of Spencers from one roof to a whole street scene, which represents the expansion of the company over twenty years. The circle symbolises trust, which was the word most used in our recent surveys sent out to all our clients. We hope you like it - watch out for all those boards out there!

Gemma Hynes has joined Spencers!
Gemma joined Spencers this month at a very exciting time, with Spencers Rentals opening at the start of April we have hired the best candidate in the city to come and work with us coordinating our Rental department. We have extended our offices by another 1000ft² to accommodate a show flat for all of our clients, tenants, landlords, vendors, buyers, friends to come and hang out with us and have a cuppa - who wouldn't want to come and have a catch up and a chat on our sofa?! And it really is a PROPER sofa! Welcome one and all!

This month's Top Tip is Don't Run Before You Can Walk!
It may have been said in the past that I don't listen and always know best...... I have learnt a very important lesson this month. Having had an operation where the consultant told me I would need at least two weeks rest, I knew that I would be back in the office after five days.... or not. So, with our new Rental business we shall go growing organically. There won't be any daft offers to try to entice people in and for us to end up with high volumes of properties, this has never been the Spencers way. We choose with care our clients and properties to deal with and give our very best attention at all times. We have the most incredible connections with our clients and have done for more than our twenty years in business, as many of our clients are our friends and our families. Building relationships day by day and not rushing them are the true answer to longevity and genuine referrals.
