Tina Reed Johnson Web Marketing wishes you a warm and fun, food-filled holiday with all of the trimmings!  You might enjoy my family's favorite cranberry salad recipe.  It's so easy to make!

CRANBERRY SALAD

Ingredients:
1 bag of fresh, whole cranberries (8 oz.)
2/3 cup water or orange juice
2/3 cup white sugar
1 red, sweet apple (pink ladies are good)
1-2 stalks celery
1/2 cup nuts (optional/put in small bowl for the finicky)

Rinse the cranberries, and follow the instructions on the bag. You will need to dissolve the sugar in the liquid and bring it to a boil. Add the cranberries and simmer just until they start to pop.  Add to serving bowl after they cool a bit.

Wash and cut up the apple and celery, and cut nuts into small pieces.  Stir into cranberries when they are completely cool.  The sauce will thicken as it cools.

Eat with your favorite Thanksgiving meal!  Also great on turkey sandwiches!
