It's the season of gratitude, and I am grateful for your subscription to our newsletter. I'm also grateful that our own WP_Dave is back with a technical blog about Website statistics software. (See link below.) Do you use Web analytics to measure the success of your Website (i.e., overall traffic, unique visitors, pages views, etc.)? Typically, your Web hosting company will provide you with traffic reporting as a part of your service. However, you might not get the kind of detail you need. Also, if your Web site is on a low-cost shared server with a bunch of other sites, your stats might not be accurate. This is when you need to look at alternatives discussed in the following blog. |
