Cookie Bites for the Week:

Recent COCO Issues

Some of your girls may have recently expressed concern over COCO (the online utility girls use to set goals and sell cookies online) not reflecting all orders placed on their Order Card Report in COCO. From 12/22/2014 to 1/5/2015, girls who created COCO accounts, changed their User ID and then sent e-cards may be unable to view their order promises and/or contact list.  If any of your girls feel they are missing information, they can email [email protected] and provide the following information:

o    Girl's council name (Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont)

o    Girl's troop number
o    Girl's first and last name
o    Two (2) names of consumers that the girl sent e-cards to and/or email addresses of those contacts
o    The e-mail address to send the information back to the girl or her parent/guardian

Also, please note that girls that have not closed their COCOmobile app since 1/5 and continue to take mobile orders may still experience this problem since the update we provided for the app won't work until they log off and log back into the app.  Girls should export their orders and contacts first, then log off and log back onto their app.  The app will then work properly from that point on.

Getting the Extra Cookies Your Troop Needs
Your troop can continue to get cookies to sell through the end of the program on March 1 at one of our cookie cupboards. When you need cookies, please give us an idea of the cookies you "plan" to pick up from a cupboard by planning a Planned Order in Snap by midnight Sunday of the week you plan to pick up the cookies. This will assist us by knowing how to stock the cupboard with the varieties/quantity you need.  For identification purposes, remember to bring a copy of your Cupboard Authorization Form.

Bling Your Booth

Beginning this Friday, January 23, get creative and "Bling Your Booth" and earn cash prizes for your troop. Both our council and GSUSA have "Bling Your Booth" Promotions and information on each can be found on here on our council website under promotions or click here for GSUSA's promotion. When preparing for GSUSA's promotion, remember to read the contest rules.

Walkabout Week

We hope your girls are participating in Walkabout Week this week. Please submit your favorite photos for a chance to win an ice cream party for your troop. More information can be found here. Door hangers are also available on our council website. Click here for front of door hanger. Click here for back of door hanger.

Booth Location Information
If you secure your own booth sale location, be sure to enter the information regarding the booth in Snap so the public can find it at www.girlscoutcookies.org. Step-by-step instructions for entering your booth location can be found on our council website here. Please note: After entering your booth location in Snap, it can take up to three business days for your booth to be displayed on the booth locator at www.girlscoutscookies.org. If the council or your service unit secures the booth location for you, they will enter the booth location information in Snap.

More information on COCO can be found on our council website under cookies, Resources for Girls and Resources for Adults.  If you have trouble with COCO, please call the ABC tech line at 1-800-853-3730.
