GSUSA Launches New Recruitment Campaign

You know that feeling you get when you just can't wait for tomorrow to come because something exciting is getting ready to happen?  GSUSA is capturing that feeling of anticipation for the 2013/2014 recruitment season with its new
"I Can't Wait To" campaign.

The campaign transcends languages and ages across all of our audiences - especially girls in grades K-5, their caregivers and potential volunteers.  From the words to the visuals, this campaign is designed to show girls and adults that with us, they will always have something to be excited about!

In the coming weeks, you will begin to see new recruitment materials- including a new campaign logo, interest cards, posters, clip art, signatures and more. One of the first things the public will see are the Girl Scout flyers promoting fall membership that will be used to attract girls and parents to our Express Events.  Check them out here and here!

GSCP2P has also created a new girl component for fall membership that goes hand-in-hand with the new materials. This year, girls will be able to introduce their friends to Girl Scouting through the Add-A-Friend patch program

Girls who bring a friend to join will be eligible to purchase the Add-A-Friend patch and charms. See the Discover Guide for more details or click here for the registration formRemember, when you hear a girl say, "I can't wait to be a Girl Scout," you know it's something she's excited about!

Fund Development
Partnership for Girls 2013
Partnership for Girls is up and running and we are very excited! In the first few months of this year's campaign, we have over 160 troops signed up. (Last year we had a total of 67 troops.)

And it's not too late for you to dream big with your troop and participate in this year's campaign. It's a great program for both the girls and our council. Contact your Regional Executive to find out how you can sign up.

If you have already signed up, please fill out your Goal Worksheet as soon as possible and return it to your Regional Executive. Remember you will not be obligated to raise this amount, but when goals are set, more is achieved.

All troops that collect and deliver their Partnership for Girls donations to the council by September 18 will receive a check on or about October 31.

Contact your Regional Executives today about participating!
