Big changes are coming in January 2015! That's when we'll begin the two-year process of rebranding The Chopping Block. We will be launching a new logo, new website and newly remodeled facilities over this time.  

 

After almost 18 years in business and having the privilege of teaching hundreds of thousands of cooking classes in Chicago, we felt it was time to fully articulate "The Chopping Block Experience." We're defining that experience and working to connect all that we do to it. That includes everything from the products we sell, the classes we offer, the flooring you stand on, the music you  hear, even the plates you eat on.  

 

Our Merchandise Mart location will be closed from January 2 - 11, 2015 for the first phase of the project, which is installing our new storefront. Keep in mind our Lincoln Square location will be open and running as usual during this time.  

 

You will see the launch of our new look on January 31st when we unveil our newly remodeled Currant classroom at the Mart. Here is a rendering to give you a sneak peek, but you must come by to see it in person!

 

Our ultimate goal in this project is to merge the successes of our past with new technologies, ideas and design that at every touch point with our customers bring value, educate, interact and entertain in an environment that is clearly "The Chopping Block Experience."
