Risotto Waits for No OneThink

Our chefs like to say risotto is the perfect dish to make when your in-laws come over for dinner. Why? Because you have an excuse to stay in the kitchen while it cooks!

Risotto is a rich and creamy northern Italian rice dish that a lot of home cooks shy away from. It does require a good bit of attention, but doesn't take more than a half hour to cook and is best served immediately. The beauty of risotto is once you master the technique, a recipe just isn't necessary.

There's some debate as to just how long risotto should cook. But as Shelley demonstrates in our latest video, it's really up to your palate.
