Tickets are still available for Green City Market's Chef BBQ. Chicago's best chefs will showcase the bounty of the market with over 100 dishes in beautiful Lincoln Park. Locally made beer, wine, hand-crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

If you've pre-ordered your copy of the Green City Market Cookbook, you can pick it up at the BBQ Thursday. This cookbook is a collection of recipes gathered from customers, volunteers, farmers and chefs.

Our Owner/Chef Shelley Young is proud to welcome Jason Hammel, chef/co-­owner of Lula Cafe, Joshua Kulp and Christine Cikowski, chefs/owners of Honey Butter Fried Chicken and Sunday Dinner Club and Beth Eccles, owner/farmer of Green Acres Farm and Green City Market Board member.

Jason will feature his Summer Bean Salad with Sun Gold Tomatoes, Market Herbs, Smoked Trout and Goat Cheese Dressing. Josh and Christine will demonstrate their Sunday Dinner Club Market Mini Burger. Beth will discuss how she collaborates and inspires chefs who shop the market.




Cost of the class ($40) includes a copy of the cookbook, and all proceeds benefit Green City Market.
