Think of a Knife as An Extension of Your Hand
|
We've been carrying our Robert Welch line of knives for a year now. And your feedback has been outstanding! These award-winning knives not only look sharp, they actually minimize hand fatigue. With a fully forged German stainless steel blade and a full tang for extra strength, each knife is powerful but comfortable to hold. These knives are an incredible value and will be a great fit for any collection.

You Can be a Samurai with Shun
|
Shun Knives have an impressive history. The company has been handcrafting knives for over a century in Japan. Just as in the tradition of samurai swords, each knife takes at least 100 steps to complete. Now, that's precision! Our chefs are big fans of Shun Cutlery. So is Chef Chris Cosentino. We love any excuse to see Chris in action, so watch as he demonstrates some knife care tips in this video. |

Slice through your Bucket List

Learning a skill, like cooking, can help keep you focused. A new study shows a mentally demanding task likely improves cognitive functioning in an aging mind. So, keep your mind sharp by signing up for our Knife Skills class. We have 12 upcoming sessions offered at both of our locations in February & March.

New Oils & Vinegars are a Family Affair
|
The Chopping Block is pleased to offer a new line of olive oil and vinegars from the Robbins Family Farm in California. For maximum freshness and quality, the oils are hand-bottled just prior to shipping. The balsamic vinegars are hand-selected and imported from Modena, Italy. Even the labels reflect the artisan family's commitment to beauty. Patti Robbins' own paintings, inspired by her time in Italy, grace the labels of the oils and vinegars.
