Spring & Summer Kids & Teen Cooking Classes

Summer Camps

Parents: start planning your summer now with the help of The Chopping Block's Kids & Teens Summer Camps.

Kids 7 to 11 years old have their choice of three different four-day camps, featuring hands-on cooking and lots of eating. In our five-day Teen Camps, teens ages 12 to 16 experiment hands on with simple yet sophisticated menus that they'll enjoy recreating at home. The camps do not need to be taken sequentially. Sign your child up for all three! Just click on the dates below to register today.

Fun with Food

Bug Pops Kids love popsicles! Let their imaginations run wild as they create their own flavors and freeze them in our fun shapes, including bugs (ladybug, caterpillar and beetle), rockets, stars and more. The sets of 6 pop molds make it easy for popsicles to slide out and almost guarantee no mess! The large drip guard handles makes certain hands stay clean, and the bases store the molds secure from tips and spills in the freezer.

Plus, parents don't need to worry about added calories or additives that come in store-bought frozen treats when you make them at home. Need some flavor ideas? Check out these recipes.

Fred Plate Our parents may have told us not to play with our food, but where's the fun in that? With our Food Face Plate, kids can create goody faces with their food that helps them gobble down their meal. Add a broccoli bouffant or a mashed potato makeover and watch the food disappear!

Hear what one proud mother has to say about her fussy eaters on Fred & Friends website:

"I've developed lots of little tricks to make mealtimes more fun and encourage my picky duo to eat something not on the kid's menu. I recently found this ceramic plate and the girls love it! Heck, I want to eat on it too. Kenna's plate this morning had scrambled egg hair, an apple slice collar and vitamin earrings."
