A Model Advocate
Miss Oct. 2014 Tonya Floyd

Survivor Tonya Floyd has experienced a life-changing year. But in a good way.

In early 2013, she was chosen to become one of the 2014 Colondar models, a project of The Colon Club. As she began to tell her story, she made connections and met the Fight Colorectal Cancer team.

Passionate about sharing her experience and wanting to SEE CHANGE when it comes to screening and policy, she quickly became an advocate.

She's met with an elected official at his local office in Atlanta and plans to attend the 2014 Call-on Congress.

We hope many others like Tonya also come out to Call-on Congress this year. In light of the shutdown and sequestration, our lawmakers NEED to hear our voices.

Please consider joining us on the Hill in March.

DONATE NOW - THOSE RESPONSIBLE NEED TO KNOW

The Call-on Congress Scholarship Fund will help get more advocates to Washington, D.C. for the 2014 Call-on Congress.

An advocate who recognizes the importance of the event has offered to match each donation dollar-for-dollar.

Please consider making a $25 donation today.

Your donation will ensure our members of Congress know that the ripples of the government shutdown hit everyone, including colorectal cancer patients and researchers. The 2014 Call-on Congress will put advocates in the offices of those responsible for this shutdown.

Help Fight Colorectal Cancer maintain a strong presence on the Hill.

Please donate today.
