Please pray for Olivia, the niece of missionary Jack Melvin. Olivia suffered multiple fractures and brain damage due to a 30-foot fall. Olivia is 18 and was on a gap year program in Australia. Also, please lift up Jack's sister Ginny, Olivia's mother, who is with her now.
Please pray for Mike and Betty Kaszer and their team's short-term mission to Honduras. Pray for the Lord's discernment for when the team should go.
Lift up Johann and Louise Vanderbijl as they take part in an art exhibition during the last weekend of March. Johann will be leading the Stations of the Cross service which will be held on the opening night. He will also have a number of his oil paintings offered to raise support for their mission.
Pray for Chris Feuillade as he seeks the Lord's guidance for his future. Chris also asks prayers for his sister Jenny, who is passing through clinical depression at the moment, and for his Dad (88 years old), who will be alone in the UK for two months.
Ask the Lord to bless the Holy Week services, preparation throughout Lent for Gregory and Heidi Whitaker, and for their upcoming baptisms this Easter Vigil.
Please pray for safe travel as Margarita Grachen and her daughters, Hannah and Gabriela, go to Honduras to participate and host a Young Ladies retreat on March 22 for the teenage girls and their mothers who attend the Osman Hope shelters. Pray that the Holy Spirit be present at the retreat and that the mothers and daughters would be blessed by the event. Also pray for wisdom at Margarita's meetings with the staff as they tackle some difficult issues.
Matt and Sora Colvin in the Philippines would like prayer for Sora's trip (now through April 15) to serve in a field clinic, providing maternity care in a typhoon-devastated area near Tacloban. Pray for her safety, that she would be able to be a blessing to the local health care workers and the patients, and for Matt and the children staying in Davao without her. Please also pray for a smooth resolution to some paperwork problems they are having with the bureau of immigration.
Please pray for Juan and Maria Marentes and the intensive physical therapy treatment that Maria Isabel has to undergo before any surgery can take place. Pray for a time of recovery and discernment as to their next step in ministry. Please pray for Juan as he is going to have his Doctor of Ministry dissertation defense on April 24th.
Pray for Bishop Grant and Wendy LeMarquand as Grant teaches at the Alexandria School of Theology in Egypt at the end of March. Pray for the new churches in the new refugee camps and for efforts to support them.
