We are saddened to say that Shirley Morris, SAMS missionary, went home to the Lord at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 15. Her funeral service is at Church of the Ascension, Pittsburgh, at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Please keep her sons, David and Jason, and their families in your prayers. Shirley served God faithfully and gave wholeheartedly of herself to the care of widows, the elderly, the forgotten and lonely. She provided lay and clergy leadership training, multiplied Bible study groups and brought dignity to many in both Uganda and England. She encouraged SAMS to become a more global ministry as she offered herself for service in Uganda. She was a blessing as she brought the hope of the Gospel in both word and deed.
