Thanksgivings:

Join SAMS missionaries Grant and Wendy LeMarquand in Ethiopia with much thanksgiving for the unveiling of the Anuak Bible - the first time this people group has ever had the Old Testament.

Join Juan and Maria Marentes in giving thanks for the many opportunities of service and testimony in Belize.  Also, please add thanks for Juan's healing and prayers for a lingering pain in his heels when he stands or walks for more than usual.

Prayers:

Please pray for the crisis situation in Egypt.  Pray that all peoples would be safe from violence and that the Lord would bring peace.

Lift up Grant and Wendy Lemarquand's request for Gambella, where they are struggling to try to find the funds to finish building some of the Diocese's simple mud and wood churches - and to start building new ones.  Also, pray for the ordinations of two new priests and a new deacon at the end of August.

Pray for SAMS missionaries Gregory and Heidi Whitaker and their family as they depart July 17th and transition into life and ministry in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  Also, give thanks to God for His provision in raising up both prayer and financial supporters.

Please pray with SAMS missionaries Chuck and Beth Bradshaw that God will provide the remaining support needed for them to depart in September for Mityana, Uganda.  Join with them in thanksgiving for God's generous provision up to this point.

SAMS missionaries Mike and Kris Reid in Uganda ask for prayers for their transitions while on their first home ministry assignment. Pray for travel mercies for Mike as he travels to the states with their three older children and for Kris as she stays in Uganda with their youngest daughter.  They also ask for prayers for an assistant for their eldest daughter Zoe for next year at school.

Lift up SAMS missionaries Russ and Heidi Smith and their trip to the south of Chile next week (July 6-12) to visit where they will most likely begin serving next year. Please ask for Godīs discernment and vision for their new ministry.  Also, lift up their church the following week (July 15-19) as they run a winter vacation VBS for the neighborhood children.  Finally, pray for the Lord's grace and provision as they move in a new home at the end of the month.

Please pray for SAMS missionaries Allen and Rachel Hill and their sons James and John, as they begin a new ministry responsibility -overseeing the English-speaking congregation of the cathedral in Lima, Peru.  Pray for anointing to lead and minister effectively.  Pray for grace for the boys as they move house, and begin a new school year in August

Join in prayer with SAMS missionaries Roberto and Cameron Vivanco in Ecuador for their busy summer season with short term mission teams that are there. Pray that the ministry sites and teams would be a blessing to each other.  Also give thanks for Roberto on his graduation from seminary on June 29 and for wisdom as they plan a fall home ministry assignment.

Thank God for his grace and mercy as SAMS missionary Shirley Morris walks through the path of acute leukemia.  Pray for scheduled treatments to be effective and have a minimum of side effects.

Thank you for praying for SAMS and your missionaries!
