Dr. Rick Boatright, a chiropractor, has been certified for equine work since 1998. Most of his horse work has been in the White Mountains over the past 15 years, but he now travels back and forth weekly seeing horses all along the way, from Show Low to Young to Buckeye.
More than just working on backs, Dr. Boatright also works on jaws, necks and the limbs. He works on every kind of horse from draft horses to miniatures. "The most rewarding part of this work," says Dr. Boatright, "is putting riders back on horses after other doctors have declared euthanasia as the only option!" He's been seeing horses in the Valley since he bought Desert Rose Chiropractic in Central Phoenix in April of 2012.

CHAD SIMMONS - EXPERT FARRIER!
Chad is new to the Phoenix Area and accepting new clients.
Chad is an AFA Certified Farrier and BWFA Journeyman Certified with 17 years of experience under Mark Russell, CJF, RJF, DWCF Master Farrier.
Chad taught at the Colorado School of Trades for 10 years. During that time, was a farrier for:
· Colorado Zoo Animals
· Denver Mounted Patrol
· Colorado Horse Rescue (the largest rescue in the state)
He also has extensive specialized rehabilitation farrier skills working with Littleton Large Animal Hospital and Boulder Valley Equine.
Chad specializes in Hunter Jumper, Dressage, Reining and Cutting (he did Devon Warren's horses), Friesian and Draft horses, along with intensive rehab cases, but has experience in all disciplines. Chad was also a ranch hand with experience working on cattle ranches and shoeing ranch horses in Montana and New Mexico.
