Helmke Library's Refresh: Fall Updates
You may have heard about the upcoming renovation of Helmke Library.
Here's what you can expect this semester:
Some of our services have relocated!
Several of our librarians have moved to new offices across campus. We hope this "embedded" model will help you get to know your librarian better! Find your librarian at the library or in their office:
- Tiff Adkins, NF 258
- Susan Anderson, Library
- Beth Boatright, NF 328
- Denise Buhr, Library
- David Dunham, SB 491
- Shannon Johnson, LA 303C
- Ann Marshall, Library
- Florence Mugambi, ET 221M
- Sue Skekloff, Library
The Writing Center has moved to KT G19. Students can stop by for assistance any weekday, make appointments online, or use the email consultation service. For more information, visit http://www.ipfw.edu/writing/.
All of the library's spaces, services, and resources are still available!
Stop by the library or visit us online for the same excellent resources and services you expect from Helmke. In fact, all of our resources and services will be available all semester! Visit the library or our website for:
- Books, DVDs, Journals, Databases and Other Resources
- Laptops, iPads, and Reserves
- In-person or Online Library Consultations
- Document Delivery Services
- The Learning Commons
- The Honors Program Center and CATV
- The Northeast Indiana Diversity Library and IPFW Archives
We're hard at work to ensure a smooth transition.
The library's renovation will start at the end of Fall semester. We're developing alternate study locations, a central point for all library services near the library's main entrance, and plenty of communication to keep you informed. Watch for more updates on our dedicated Refresh website, the library's Facebook page, Helmke Highlights, and other campus news venues.
