Cedar Lake Parkway Resurfacing
A section of Cedar Lake Parkway will be closed for resurfacing.
Construction will begin today (October 19) and is expected to be completed by October 28. The road closure extends south from I-394 just past the bridge over the channel connecting Cedar Lake and Brownie Lake. Sidewalks and trails will remain open on the west side of the parkway. Check the project website for updates.

Fall street sweeping will begin October 20.
"No Parking" signs will be posted at least 24 hours before sweeping any streets. Parking will be banned from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the day a street is swept.
Most of the streets in CIDNA are scheduled for sweeping the week of November 2nd. To check the sweeping date for your street, go to the City's Street Sweeping webpage.
Reminder: do not rake leaves into the street -- it's illegal and bad for our lakes. Yard waste collection is available through early- mid November.

Minneapolis Public Schools is developing a district calendar for the next three years (school years 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19) that balances the needs of families, schools and community members while meeting the educational requirements of our students.
Community input about the calendar will shape the final proposal to the Board of Education in November.
You are invited to look at the informational calendar resources on the project webpage and provide your feedback about what the calendar should look like for the next three years.
