City of Lakes Loppet Ski Festival
A Minnesota Celebration of Winter Fireworks! The Pearson's Crew Ski Loppet! These are two of the new additions to the annual City of Lakes Loppet Ski Festival, Friday, January 30 - Sunday, February 1. The Loppet Weekend offers a combination of participant and spectator activities and races for people of all ages and ability levels. The event returns again to Loppet Village on the west side of Lake Calhoun. For many, the Luminary Loppet is the highlight where people of all ages and experience levels ski, snowshoe or walk around Lake of the Isles among thousands of candle-lit ice luminaries. Over the past few years the event has exploded in both scope and attendance. To ensure a high-quality experience for (and to be fair to) paid participants, event organizers will again be strict about registration this year. ( Click here for a direct link to the registration page.) For a complete schedule of Loppet Weekend activities and to register, visit www.cityoflakesloppet.com.
For questions related to Loppet Weekend, please email info@loppet.org or call 612-604-5330. Loppet Weekend is put on by the Loppet Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that ignites a passion for year-round outdoor adventure, especially among underserved youth and their families.
