Fall Street Sweeping Continues
Street sweeping continues in Cedar-Isles-Dean. 
"No Parking" signs will be posted at least 24 hours before sweeping any streets. Parking will be banned from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the day a street is swept.
To look up the exact date of sweeping for your street, go to Street Sweeping Schedule Lookup webpage.
Reminder: Do not rake leaves into the street. It's against the law and bad for our lakes. Yard waste will be collected through the week of November 17th.

2015 City of Minneapolis Budget Process
Public hearings for proposed 2015 City budget.
The Minneapolis City Council is considering the Mayor's budget proposal and will vote to adopt a final 2015 budget in December. Before that vote, there will be two hearings for the public to comment on the 2015 budget proposal. 2015 Park Board Budget
Park Board Superintendent Jayne Miller presented her proposed budget for 2015.
The proposed budget and related documents are available for viewing at www.minneapolisparks.org/budget or by calling 612-230-6400. Park Siding Gardeners
A big thanks to our volunteer gardeners!
Volunteers tend the gardens at Park Siding Park from April to October to keep them looking beautiful for all to enjoy. Special thanks to our crew leader -- Sherry Brooks from the Park Board.

Tree Grant Program
CIDNA NRP funds are available to help residents maintain and promote healthy trees in the Cedar-Isles-Dean neighborhood.
Program details: Grants are available to CIDNA property owners to help defray the costs of:
- Removing dead or diseased trees
- Treating diseased trees
- Planting new trees
- Removing buckthorn
The grants for all of the above will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, as funds are available. Effective date as of June 21, 2013 (the solstice storm). Residential Organics Drop-Off
Did you know up to 40% of your household trash can be composted? Participate in the residential organics drop-off program today. Minneapolis residents can bring compostable material to five drop-off sites. Three easy steps to participate: - Collect organics in compostable bags (paper or plastic)from your kitchen, bathroom and laundry room.
- Bring your bagged organics to the drop-off site.
- Place the bagged organics into the organics carts during the hours of operation.
