Public Hearings for Apartment Projects
Minneapolis Planning Commission is schedule to consider approval of the Greystar and Trammell Crow apartment projects on June 23.
Monday, June 23
4:30 p.m. City Hall, Room 317 350 S 5th St Map The Greystar project at 2622 W Lake St (Weisman site) is an 8 story, 90-unit building and the Trammell Crow project at 3188 W Lake Street (Tryg's site) is a 6 story mixed-use building with 157 units. Park Siding Playground Closing for Final Renovation Work
The playground at Park Siding Park will be closed beginning Monday, June 23 for a minimum of five weeks.
The playground will be closed and fenced off as the contractor will be forming and pouring the concrete base for the poured-in-place rubber surfacing, which then must cure for 21 days. An additional week is needed to cure the rubberized surfacing and replace the sand. All work is dependent on weather conditions, so the construction schedule may be extended. The construction zone will be fenced to ensure the safety of park users.
