Sewer Construction Updates
Paving Update: Due to the approaching colder temperatures and longer cure time needed for concrete restoration, it is currently anticipated that temporary asphalt paving will need to occur in areas where concrete restoration has not started (this includes westbound Sunset Blvd. between Drew Ave. S. and France Ave., and driveway aprons along westbound Sunset Blvd.).
Permanent concrete restoration work will occur next spring, along with boulevard restoration and other final project activities.
France Ave S / West Lake St:
Sewer pipe installation is anticipated to resume on France Ave. S. today (October 7th). Westbound Lake St. is anticipated to be reduced to a single lane for installation work. Lake St. lane closures at the France Ave. S. intersection are anticipated to continue over the next several weeks as installation work moves through the intersection.
