Public Meeting Tonight!

The meeting will be an open house format with project staff on hand to answer
questions and get feedback from residents. Illustrated plans and project schedule information will be available.

Residents' feedback about the design alternatives will assist the project team in
finalizing design plans. 

If you can't attend tonight's meeting but would like to provide input, please
complete a short online survey at:
www.surveymonkey.com/s/ParkSidingParkConcepts.
The survey will be available until March 24.


The preferred playground design will be share at the final public meeting to
be held on:

The restoration of Park Siding Park is part of the Metropolitan Council
Environmental Services (MCES) Cedar Lake Area Sewer Improvements Project.
MCES, in conjunction with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, is working
to restore the park and redesign the playground. The park restoration is anticipated
to be completed in early July 2013.

Metropolitan Council's Long-Range Transportation Plan Public Meetings

The Metropolitan Council is considering an amendment to the region's long-range Transportation Policy Plan to include light rail transit (LRT) for the Bottineau Transitway in Hennepin County and additional Arterial Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridors to provide faster, more reliable bus service on arterial streets throughout the metro area.

The public is invited to comment on the proposed amendment through March 21. Comments may be submitted by email, phone, fax, or letter.
