Community Advisory Committee for Dean Parkway and Cedar Lake Parkway Trails

Community Advisory Committee working
on trail improvements along Dean and
Cedar Lake Parkways.

The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board has funding designated for improvements to the bicycle and pedestrian trails along Dean Parkway and
Cedar Lake. A Community Advisory Committee (CAC) has been appointed to work as a liaison between the community and the Park Board.

This project involves redesign and construction of the existing trails and lighting. Improvements to known trail conflict areas, lighting, signage, and trail connections to both on and off-road trail systems comprise the project's scope. These improvements are not expected to change the current use of this popular trail segment that threads through so many urban amenities.
