The agenda includes CIDNA Board's response to the Southwest LRT Draft Environmental Impact Statement. 

The MPRB will appoint a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to represent trail users and the surrounding community in the planning process.  

Improvements to known trail conflict areas, lighting, signage, and regional trail connections comprise the project's scope. Proposed improvements are not expected to change the current use of trails as a popular recreational and commuter route abutted by numerous urban amenities.  

All trail users are invited and encouraged to complete a survey (click here to access the survey).

Popular destinations in the area have led to steadily increasing congestion with accompanying safety concerns.  

The study was organized as a multi-day community design event, or charrette, that engages the public in envisioning the future of the area and directly affects parts of south CIDNA including a possible land bridge between Lake of the Isles and Lake Calhoun and bike-ped-auto circulation at the busy intersection of West Lake Street and Dean Parkway.
