WILLIAMS LODGE DEDICATED IN AUGUST
Williams Lodge was dedicated at Trinity Pines on August 19th. The Celebration Service was a testimony to the ministry and impact that the lodge's namesake, Tom Williams, has had throughout his years of service.

South Main Baptist Church Senior Adults have held their Fall Retreat at Trinity Pines for over 30 years and Tom Williams faithfully served as South Main's Senior Adult Minister since 1989. When members heard that the new lodge was in need of funding and a namesake, generous donors from that ministry stepped in and proudly sponsored the Williams Lodge construction.
Trinity Pines and South Main have long enjoyed a wonderful partnership. Many of our facilities are connected with South Main's ministry including: Chafin Lodge (Pastor Ken & Barbara Chafin), Lott Worship Center (Harold & Bobbye Lott), Lee Lodge (Howard Lee and Sarah Lee Cole) and a number of others.

South Main Baptist Church of Houston, Trinity Pines volunteers, and family and friends of Tom Williams enjoyed a beautiful service and fellowship as we celebrated God's provision and goodness and Tom's faithful service.
The service was held in the MHS Worship Center and guests toured the Williams Lodge throughout the day. An Ebenezer was laid by individuals as they entered the lodge.
"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, 'Thus far the Lord has helped us.' "
1 Samuel 7:12 (NKJV)
The reviews of the Williams Lodge are wonderful so far and its opening and availability have already positively impacted our guest attendance.
Again, we are truly grateful to all of those who have contributed time, money, and resources to prepare this beautiful new option for our guests. With 8 rooms and 7 beds in each room (1 queen bed and 3 bunk beds), this is a wonderful option for all sorts of groups and ages. We are currently taking reservations for it and all of our facilities through 2015.
