  • We only had 17 meals that we did not serve throughout the summer

  • We had a record breaking June this year!

God Provides
We are sure grateful that although we sent two wonderful families on to other camps, God sent some other amazing folks our way for the summer. These couples committed their summer to serving at Trinity Pines and enabled us to continue the great service that our guests so appreciate. Join us in thanking the Father for these awesome servants.

"This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!"
2 Cor. 9:12-15

WILLIAMS LODGE IS OPEN!!!

Our newest facility, Williams Lodge, opened for use this month. Guests with our recent camps were thrilled to be the first to use it.

Here are some of the Williams Lodge photos and the information on our website.

Again, we are truly grateful to all of those who have contributed time, money, and resources to prepare this beautiful new option for our guests. With 8 rooms and 7 beds in each room (1 queen bed and 3 bunk beds), this is a wonderful option for all sorts of groups and ages. We are currently taking reservations for it and all of our facilities through 2015.

SUMMER STAFF PROGRAM
The biggest difference in our summer has been the expansion of our Discipleship Program. An integral aspect of this program has been the addition of three seasonal Management Interns. They not only assist with hosting our guests and campers, but also help with staff training and act as liaisons between our staff teams and leadership.

Other key elements of the program are:
  • Summer Staff Ministry Teams and Service Teams

Each member of the summer staff have been prayerfully organized into both a Ministry Team and Service Team. These groups were established to instill leadership in the summer staff and to give them ownership in the ministry. Six Service Teams brainstorm ideas for the upkeep and safety of the outdoor and recreation areas. Five Ministry Teams strive to unify our body of Christ through prayer, fellowship and play. Take a glance at what these teams have been up to this summer!

  •  Worship Service and Small Groups

This summer we have committed to Sunday night worship services and eight student-led, follow-up small groups.

  • Fellowship Nights including "Olympics"

The summer staff has been participating in a mini-Olympics competition to challenge their mental and physical strength as a team.

  • Spiritual Disciplines including Scripture Memory

The entire staff has been challenged and encouraged  to be obedient and teachable through scripture memorization.

We are excited to see how the Lord will continue to use these teams not only to further his ministry at Trinity Pines but also to grow and unify our staff.
