Family Cabin Porch October is a beautiful month to be at Trinity Pines: low ropes, bonfires, hayrides, hiking, kayaking, and paddle-boating are all popular activities in our fall months.

This month we welcome approximately 50 volunteers from the Sagemont RV Club and the Texas Baptist Men Camp Builders and their wives. They will continue work on the new 64 bed lodge. The Chainsaw Team from Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief will also be working here this month, helping clear trees killed by the drought.

Thanks to our hardworking volunteers, we now have 6 of 8 Family Cabins open for rental, which means we can host 6 pastors and their families almost any weekday through our Pamper the Pastor Ministry. October is Clergy Appreciation Month. You can bless their ministries, marriages, and families by letting your pastors know about this opportunity. Trinity Pines offers full-time ministers and their immediate families 4 nights free lodging annually and meals when available. Contact Karen Beakley for details or call us at 936-594-5011
What's a Leopold Bench?
Leopold Benches Memorial Drive Baptist Church inquired about a potential work project for Trinity Pines. After receiving the information and design for the "Leopold Bench" pictured here, their Men's Group committed to provide Trinity Pines with 30 of them! The church provided the materials, Ron Harrell provided the work location, the Men's Ministry provided the labor and the benches are now being used in locations across the Trinity Pines campus. A huge thank you to all who assisted.

If you or your group are interested in assisting Trinity Pines in any way - labor, resources, financial support - or to plan your church's work project, please contact Tom Roots.
Camp Overflow 2014
Each year, as we look forward to summer, we have one really special camp where our camp staff is more involved with programming and participation. That is our Preteen Camp known as Camp Overflow. Camp Overflow is a high-energy camp for kids who have finished 3rd - 6th grades. Our camp mission is to follow Mark and "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation" (ESV), by providing a fun, fast-paced Christian camp that focuses on quality bible-based Christian education while building lasting friendships through the love of Jesus Christ.
