Ministry Quicklinks

Dear Friends of Trinity Pines

30 YEARS!  That is how long Trinity Pines has been hosting guests.  God has moved in miraculous ways and used hundreds of volunteers, donors, supporters, and especially prayers to bring us to this point.  We are grateful to God for what He has accomplished and eagerly anticipate what He has planned for the future of the ministry.

Trinity Pines Mission Statement is:

"Guests from ALL NATIONS, experiencing God through a Christ centered spiritual setting, so that they might know Him better"

Each article below will expand on that Mission. May God refresh and inspire you, our partners, in this unique Kingdom impacting ministry.

TA ETHNE

Since 1980, we have hosted over a quarter of a million children, youth, senior adults, couples, singles, families, men, women, students, teachers, new believers, and seekers.  In addition to every part of Texas and states across America, we have served guests from:  India, Nigeria, Russia, China, Korea, Argentina, Guatemala, Vietnam, Kenya, Ethiopia, Honduras, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, Iran, and Eritrea to name a few.

Jesus said to "make disciples of all nations".  The Greek for " the nations" is "ta ethne".  We thank God that as a result of our close proximity to Houston, He has brought many "ta ethne"/"people groups" to us.  Pray with us that the many people groups we serve find and meet with Jesus Christ as they enjoy the beauty of His creation and the love of His people at Trinity Pines.

MISSIONARY FAMILY CAMP

We believe that God is at work all around us and we desire to see where He is working and join Him there.  One of the ways God is clearly working in our times is through Christian missionaries here and across the globe.

Since arriving to Trinity Pines in 2001, Director Phil Springer has dreamed of providing an opportunity for Missionary Families to gather together for community, sharing, fun, worship, and renewal.  This spring that dream begins with our first

Trinity Pines Missionary Family Camp, April 11-14, 2011

Phil says, "As we speak with missionary friends, we realize that they have a need and desire to spend time with folks who, like themselves, have had a unique ministry experience.  We want to serve God by serving them."

Plans are already underway to offer a truly meaningful and memorable experience for our missionary guests.  Special speakers and worship leaders are excited to serve our brothers and sisters and their families who have sacrificed so much to share their lives on the mission field.

Family worship- morning and evening:

Recreation & Fun to include the Ropes Course, Hayrides, and Bonfires.

If you know a missionary family that you think may be interested in Trinity Pines Missionary Family Camp, please have them contact Karen Beakley at karen@trinitypines.org  or 800-672-7079 for information and registration.

SEASON OF GROWTH

As the seasons change, so does our focus at Trinity Pines.  Fall begins a season of projects and growth provided by our amazing, loving, serving, faithful volunteers.  From September- April, we are privileged to host volunteers from across Texas, the nation, and Canada.  Thanks to all of our supporters, the Campers on Mission, SOWERS, Texas Baptist Men and supporting church groups such as Sagemont RV Club, South Main Baptist, and Memorial Drive Baptist, our campus has experienced vast improvements and development in recent years.  One of the major additions in recent years was the construction of our brand-new 1,000 seat Fred and Faye Springer Amphitheater (pictured above).

Current projects for 2010-2011 include:

  • Construction of 2 more family cabins bringing the total to 6
  • Remodeling of a staff house
  • Remodeling the hotel rooms in Lee Lodge
  • Landscaping around the Office area

INFINITELY MORE...

Trinity Pines serves guests year round.  Celebrating the harvest work God has accomplished through our partnering with our guest churches and ministries encourages us to continue to grow and persevere in our calling.  We are so very grateful to the Father for the exciting reports that we have received through the years.

In 2010:

  • 19,000 Guests
  • 370 Retreats
  • 35 Camps
  • 680 Salvations
  • 425 Personal Renewals
  • 32 Commitments to Vocational Ministry

We have heard reports of countless marriages saved, lives turned around, families restored, relationships built, addictions broken.

Since 2002 guests have reported:

  • 500 Commitments to Vocational Ministry
  • 3,000 Personal Renewals
  • 2,000 First Time Commitments to Christ
