Star Wars Day Nov. 14
The always-popular Star Wars Day event will feature members of a costuming organization. All ages welcome! Take pictures, shake hands, get autographs, on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. on the third floor.

New Displays for Music CDs
Thanks to funding from the Mead Public Library Foundation, Mead Library will soon have all of its Music CD Collection in user-friendly drawers. The drawers are easier to pull and many more library users will be able to look at CDs as the same time. The Music CD collection is located on the first floor at the back (south) part of the library.
Make It a DIY Holiday Season
Get ready for the holidays with two special how-to programs in November. Learn to make Thanksgiving and Christmas floral arrangements at a demo by Tina Nohl of the Wreath Factory at Otter Creek, on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.

Marilyn Montemayor will make her favorite Bûche de Noël (Yule Log) recipe on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 1:30 p.m. You will learn tips and tricks for the chocolate cake, white filling, chocolate curls and mushroom meringues.  
Garage Sale Nov. 7
We're having another Garage Sale at Mead Public Library, on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library's Rocca Meeting Room, featuring furnishings and other items that are obsolete or no longer needed by Mead Library. Items must be removed by the buyer on the day of the sale.

Sponsored by the Friends of Mead Public Library. Cash/checks only. Proceeds will benefit Mead Public Library. Details at our website.
