STC Officer John Hsu has been honorably appointed by Supervisor Don Knabe as the new member of Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Commission.
 As one of this five- member committee, John will advise the Board of Supervisors, the Director of Parks and Recreation, and other County officers as to the acquisition, improvements and government of County parks, other recreational areas and facilities, recreation programs, and related recreation matters.

 STC Foundation is collaborating with Foundation for Disabled Youths to bring joy to its children and broaden the life experiences of its volunteers. All of the children that FFDY serves, along with their parents, will have the chance to join in on the field trips and the camping adventure. In addition, FFDY's volunteer student leaders can enroll into the program without any charges.

STC 團隊應邀參與洛縣警局華人顧問委員會舉辦的警民聯誼會

On June 13, Los Angeles Chinese-American Sheriff Advisory Committee (LACASA) held 2013 annual mixer event.
LACSA is a non-profit organization supported by the LA County Sheriff's Department. They strive to act as the bridge that catalyzes the connection between the Asian-American we represent and the law enforcement authorities of their local community. LACASA aims to expand its mission and vision to other key law enforcement agencies and further improve the relations between law enforcement agencies and the Chinese community of Southern California.  洛杉磯縣警局華人顧問委員會（LACASA）於6月13日下午舉行警民聯誼會。洛杉磯縣警察局局長李巴卡（Lee Baca），高級警官，地方警署警長，社區領袖以及各位多有為華人社區做出貢獻的LACASA 理事和成員出席了當天活動。STC 作為多年來致力於華人社區建設的企業受邀參加了活動。
洛杉磯縣警局華人顧問委員會（LACASA）成立於1998年，是一個受到社區和洛杉磯警政部門支持的非營利機構。LACASA 致力於緊密聯繫華人社區，積極地扮演橋樑和紐帶作用，為改善華人社區的治安，減少文化差異的衝突做出了突出貢獻。

STC Foundation at Relay for Life Event
STC 順天聯合基金會參與抗癌活動 June 8, 2013
STC Foundation was invited to collaborate with the American Cancer Society at their event RELAY FOR LIFE. Held on June 8th at La Puente Park, this event was attended by many people such as elected officials, and local representatives, all who spent their time in the walk against cancer. Following the event's three themes of "celebrate, remember, and fight", the show of Chinese Martial Arts, Three Princes, and Dragon Dance all served as a cultural bridge embodying the camaraderie and team spirit of those that came for the common goal of fighting cancer and supporting those with it.
STC 順天聯合基金會受到美國癌症協會（American Cancer Society RELAY FOR LIFE）邀請，一起來加入服務與抗癌的愛心行列，在6月8日於 La Puente 公園盛大舉辦的抗癌活動中，為現場的民選官員、地方代表、各界善心人士，以及抗癌家屬來帶來了電音三太子降福、中國武術表演、以及祥龍獻瑞的舞龍表演，在達到文化交流的同時，也將大會活動的三個主軸：慶祝、懷念、與反擊癌症，以傳統中國文化的風格來盛大呈現，凝聚著所有與會來賓的向心力與精神，一同為對抗癌症貢獻心力。

STC Fundation Performed at 2013 Los Angeles County Sheriff's 33rd Annual Scholarship Dinner
STC 順天聯合基金會在 2013 洛縣警察獎學金晚宴表演

The maintenance of a good relationship between the police and has always been a key factor in assuring social order and harmony. As such, Sung Tien Foundation is proud to be the guest of the Korean Sheriff's Association's 33rd 2013 Los Angeles County Sheriff's 33rd Annual Scholarship Dinner, to commemorate the hard work and effort that the police contributed for the security of the community's families and children.
In addition, STC and Dance Impressions Productions offered collaboration performances including the Three Princes and Chinese folk dances which received the highest honors from guests such as Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy D. Baca.
維持警民良好互動一直是維繫社會秩序與祥和的重要關鍵，STC 順天聯合基金會很榮幸地受到韓裔美籍警察協會的邀請，參加第33屆的2013洛縣警察獎學金餐會，為維護社會安全、辛勤付出的警察們至上最高的敬意，幫助他們的家屬與孩子獲得更完善的教育與幫助。
此外，STC 順天聯合基金會與舞印舞蹈中心暨舞印製作更呈現了包括來自台灣的三太子與中國傳統舞蹈等多項表演，獲得洛縣最高警長Sheriff Leroy D. Baca 等到場警界與嘉賓們的一致好評。

As Melody is about to start the next chapter in her life upon graduating from college, she would like to share her love and passion for Chinese dance by inviting the community to watch and take part in her journey thus far.
