Our Donation Philosophy
Donation is usually an important part of the organizing process. When our clients find items that they no longer need, use or love we load them into our car. We take our clients donations to Cornerstone Community Outreach, a local homeless shelter. These donations directly benefit those who need it most which appeals to the heart and head of our clients. It just makes sense!

Find the Home Staging Opportunity
in This Photo
|
Opportunity: Clearing the floor and around the outside of the room opens up the space. Add a rug for a touch of warmth.
Opportunity: When you have open space, potential buyers can actually "see" the space. Opportunity: Keep counters as empty as possible. Use drawers or cabinets to store items out of sight.

The 5 Senses of Home Staging
SIGHTThis is the most important sense to consider when staging your home. You want buyers to think of words like "clear", "spacious", "roomy", so do some major de-cluttering. Keep items in a storage space or a friends house until you sell. SMELLSmell is closely associated with memory. Make sure that your space conjures up warm feelings for those walking through. Open windows and let in fresh air when the weather permits. You can also use candles and plug-ins to freshen entryways and rooms. TASTEHopefully no one will be tasting your home (haha), but there are ways to appeal to a person's sense of taste. Light a candle in the kitchen that smells like Home-baked cookies or apple pie. TOUCHKeep all of your surfaces clean. Potential buyers may want to touch the walls, tiles, counter tops, faucets, and door handles. The same goes for floors and carpet. Walkways should remain clear to avoid any obstacles. SOUNDWhen you have a quiet moment listen for things like water dripping, furnaces ticking or vents clanking. Repair what needs to be fixed. You can always play light music while showing to soothe the shoppers minds.

A Thoughtful Transition By: Lindsey J. Kunz Staging a home requires homeowners to focus on the essentials versus an abundant amount of décor. A staged home is polished and streamlined. It showcases the desirable features and amenities of a living space. Once you begin to stage your home, take inventory of household items and prepare to pack. Packing is a step by step process or it can occur in stages; sort through belongings, get rid of and/or donate unwanted items, and sort through and place remaining items in appropriate boxes. When items are organized and packed in an orderly fashion you will have a smooth transition from your old home to new home! All your belongings will be easy to locate. You will enjoy moving into a new space and unpack without feeling scatterbrained. Here are a few critical protocols to consider as you pack. Continue Reading on M2O's blog... |
Spring is time of growth and rebirth. Life outdoors is growing with the magical care of Mother Nature, just like all the mothers of the Earth grow their families. On the calendar this month, we marked Mother's Day. It's a day to appreciate all the amazing women that raised us or cared for our loved ones. We salute all of you amazing mothers who do it all with smile on your face and so much love in your heart. We are always amazed by the beauty of your strength and all of your selfless acts.
In past years, we had the pleasure to work with many busy moms and new moms. We saw firsthand how it really does take a village to raise a kid. Yet all these amazing unstoppable ladies take on the great task of nurturing life and do it all with such grace. It has been a privilege to be able to take a load off their busy schedules and be the helping hand when they needed it the most. All that these mom do is nothing less than being a hero on every single day of life and nothing makes us feel more honored than to know we can be there to do as little or as much to just make their day a little less stressful.
We are always so thankful when we hear back from moms about how the systems that we have put in place for them has made their days go more smoothly. We shout out a big thank you to our moms and all of the moms out there. We are forever thankful for you and your magnificent ways that make it possible for the world go around. Thank your mom with a gift certificate from M2O!
As always, we welcome your questions and comments, so please feel free to email us or contact us through our website. Thank you for your referrals and support!
