NINE TAPPED THURSDAY FOR JA HALL OF FAME
|
Announced each year during Upper School Awards Day, Hall of Fame recognizes seniors who exhibit superior qualities of leadership and citizenship, versatility in activities, service to Jackson Academy, and scholastic achievement. Hall of Fame is awarded to students who by their attitude and integrity exemplify honorable standards in all areas of school and community life. Named to the Hall of Fame for 2015-16 are (back, from left): Ford Williams, Hays Rogers, Dalton Gibson, Hayley Murphy, Tyler McClellan; (front) Hannah McCowan, Rose Maxwell, Georgia Gibson, and Robyn Hadden.

STUDENTS WIN AT STATE SCIENCE FAIR
|

Rett Stanley and Armoni Williams were recognized at the MAIS State Science Fair at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus of Hinds Community College March 30. Rett won first place in Environmental Science, and Armoni won third place in Medicine and Health. Rett and Armoni were among four individuals and two teams of students who advanced to the state fair after placing first in the MAIS District Science Fair that was held at JA.

CHEERLEADERS TO PRESENT ZUMBA® EVENT

Jackson Academy Varsity and JV cheerleaders invite Middle and Upper School students, faculty, and parents to a fun-filled event May 2, from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. The Zumba® Fitness Whiteout Party will be a great way to start out the last month of school with fun music and dance. An aerobic fitness program, Zumba® features Latin American-style movement and music.
