Tony Beltran
Dear Lake County Residents:

February is American Heart Month, an ideal time to focus on heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, but heart disease is preventable and controllable.

There are no quick fixes. Refraining from smoking, keeping your cholesterol and blood sugar levels in check, monitoring your blood pressure, maintaining a healthy weight and eating healthy, portion-controlled meals are among choices each person can make toward a healthier heart.

Here are more details on how you can improve your heart health one step at a time.

Sincerely,

Tony Beltran, M.B.A.
