Johnny Appleseed Celebrations - PRESCHOOL Campus
Johnny Appleseed was trained as a nurseryman and in 1800 began collecting apple seeds from cider presses in Pennsylvania. He then traveled west to the Ohio River Valley planting apple seeds along the way. He tended 1,200 acres of his own orchards and was responsible for hundreds of square miles of others.

The Preschool Campus will be celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day Thursday, September 26th. Our classrooms will be overflowing with apples and tons of fun! There will be apple pies, apple chips, apple muffins, applesauce, and other special apple treats. Check with your child's class Room Parent to see what your child can contribute in celebrating this special day.

Historic Anaheim Campus Loves Grandparents

Grandparents play such an important role in the lives of their grandchildren. As a thank you, Fairmont Private Schools honors grandparents in their own special way at each campus.

At the Historic Anaheim Preschool, students paid tribute to their grandparents on Friday, September 13th.  Preschool and junior kindergarten performed a memorable song expressing their appreciation to their grandparents.  After the presentation, all students were able to have a wonderful continental breakfast with their grandparents.

At the Historic Anaheim K-8 Campus, our grandparents were honored on Wednesday, September 18th. The day began with Mrs. Luckham's class presenting flag salute with an acrostic poem about grandparents. When flag salute concluded, the grandparents were treated to a wonderful, yummy breakfast and then they were given a tour of campus by their grandchildren.
