Historic Anaheim Campus Remembers September 11th

null

Each year, during the week of September 11th, Historic Anaheim Campus holds a special Patriot Day flag salute to pay remembrance to September 11, 2001. Each student receives a small flag and the class presentation is themed around September 11th.

This year, Mrs. Gilliland's 5th grade class presented the Patriot Day flag salute which, fittingly, fell on Wednesday, September 11th. After Ryan T. led the "Pledge of Allegiance" and Lauryn P. led "God Bless America," each student read a little passage that they had written about the events of September 11, 2001.

It was a wonderful presentation and all of the students enjoyed waving their flags in remembrance.
