Library News - MAIN Campus
We are very excited to welcome all our students and parents back for an exciting 2013-2014 school year. Many new books will be waiting for our students in both our physical library and Overdrive E-Book collections.
A reminder that if quizzes were taken on Book Adventure this summer to print a report to be handed into the library by September 11, 2013. PLEASE be sure to have the student's name written on the top of the report.
We would love to invite parents to join our team of Library Parent Volunteers. By committing to one morning or one afternoon per month, you get to experience the wonders of our library and help our students make the most of our resources. Please stop by our library to sign up.
Our Semi-Annual Book Fair is right around the corner as well. The READING OASIS Book Fair will be September 13 - 19 with set-up day September 12 and tear down on September 20. Parent volunteers will be needed - we could not be as successful on this fundraiser for our Library without your help.

Feature Article
 We were so excited to see all of the smiling faces on Tuesday as our students hopped out of their cars and bounded off the buses ready to start the new school year! Additionally, everyone looked very "smart" in the new formal uniforms at Wednesday's Flag Salute. While our summer school and summer camp program was filled with fairy tale fun, sun, and many happy memories, we are so pleased to welcome all of our students back for the school year.
The new year always bring excitement, and this year is no different. First of all, we are very excited to have a few new faces around school this year. At the Preschool Campus, we are pleased to have Mrs. Talia Lerma serve as our Associate Preschool Director after working as the Lead Preschool Teacher last year. Mrs. Monica Martinez came over from the North Tustin Campus to be the new Lead Preschool Teacher. Additionally, we are thrilled to have Mrs. Haide Gonzlez as our new receptionist.
This year, new faces around the Main Campus will include: Miss Crystal Barnett, Miss Katie Flynn, Mrs. Lori Stern, Mr. Sam Montooth, and Mr. Drake Peterson. Miss Barnett will join our wonderful team of 2nd grade teachers, Miss Flynn will join the 5th grade team, and Mrs. Stern will join the 6th grade team. Mr. Montooth and Mr. Peterson will join our performing arts department teaching strings and brass, respectively. Click here to learn more about our fantastic new teachers in their teacher profiles.
